Peter A. Papoutsis - Attorney at Law


     Peter A. Papoutsis is a sole practitioner that offers personal services in all aspects of the law. Mr. Papoutsis has over 20 years of legal experience. Currently Mr. Papoutsis concentrates in cases involving worker’s compensation, real estate transactions and estate planning. He also has experience in handling personal injury matters, bankruptcy litigation,  as well as probate and commercial litigation. He has tried dozens of jury trials, numerous bench trials, and has briefed and argued several important and key appellate cases before the Illinois Appellate Court including a precedent setting case regarding the application of the Illinois Tort Immunity Act to Minors.


     Mr. Papoutsis is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Hellenic Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Papoutsis lives outside of Chicago with his wife Valerie and their two children.
